I do and I admit I am over it.

I am no longer going to make a effort on this blog, this will be my final thought on Curlies, and the crappy economy, on here at least.

Alright, I have hesitated and been weeble-woobling on bringing this subject up, but I have not let that stop me before, so let’s have at it.

I appreciate the horror of having to sell a “special” Curly to so and so, who did not love him or her as much as you. But I am not going to fund your recovery of him or her. Sadly, it’s life and I have had to list my 2 favorite Curlies in a attempt to have enough hay this winter. If and when they do sell, I will cry, I will feel like crud underneath the hooves of hell’s horses………..but that does not change the fact I have to sell some. I am not going to beg or borrow. Horses are a luxury. Course I will continue to attempt to sell the 2 who are not my favorites first, August and Mouse, if I can. (Heck I may give them away if I found the correct home). And I am praying that March’s owner follows through and picks him up soon like they are supposed to. But I am NOT taking money away from those who are in even worse shape than I. Why is this “special” Curly not suitable for other homes anyways? Because the person who wants it back trained this special Curly in a way that is not mainstream and this special Curly is unable to respond correctly to traditional cues.

What I ask is this, reader of this blog, if you do sell your Curly, understand you are giving that Curly up, for better or worse. Life sucks somedays. Do not train any of your animals in a way that would render it dangerous to others, even if you don’t plan on selling. You could die tomorrow, and that horse could be sold to god knows who, so unless you have a will that states that special horse goes to so and so, who can put up with your “special” horse, then you have condemned that so called “special” horse, to a sad life or even death.
